of 12 June 2017 entitled
Labor resets infrastructure priorities,
and ask:
(a) has a business case been finalised for the Morley-Ellenbrook line;
(b) will the Minister outline the indicative alignment and track length;
(c) does the value of $863 million include the costs for land acquisition, bus stock and rail cars; and
(d) can the Minister list the number of, and location of, the rail stations to be built?

(b) The current proposed alignment is from the Midland Line generally via Tonkin Highway, Marshall Road and Lord Street. Assessment of options and how best to integrate the proposed railway with existing land uses and infrastructure networks will be progressed by the METRONET team as part of developing a business case and Project Definition Plan. (c) No (d) Six stations have been indicatively identified for further consideration at Morley, Noranda, Malaga, Bennett Springs, Whiteman Park and Ellenbrook. Further information on the location of the stations will be finalised as part of the business case and project design plan.
