PRISONER TRANSPORT — ALTERNATIVE METHODS
I refer to the use of alternative methods for prisoner transport in place of the prisoner transport vehicles that have been taken off the road. (1) How many prisoners have been transported to date by an unsecured vehicle? (2) How many kilometres of travel by prisoners does the answer to (1) represent? (3) To date, have there been any incidents on an unsecured vehicle in respect of — (a) prisoner health or safety; or (b) security? (4) If yes to (3), will the parliamentary secretary please provide details? Hon MICHAEL MISCHIN
