806. Hon LYNN MacLAREN to the minister representing the Minister for Lands:
I refer to land at the corner of Hymus Street and Palm Beach Drive, Rockingham, used by the
Alfred Hines Seaside Camp for children.
(1) Who owns this land and what is
the land tenure?
(2) What is the governmentXXX ###XXXs
intention for the future use of this site?
(3) Will the
government confirm that it supports the site being used as a holiday home in
the future by the Crippled ChildrenXXX ###XXXs Seaside
Home Society of WA to help improve the lives of people with disabilities and
underprivileged children?
(4) If no to (3), why not?

(1) Lot 1786 on
deposited plan 164231 is held in the name of Crippled ChildrenXXX ###XXXs
Seaside Home Society as conditional tenure land pursuant to section 75 of the
Land Administration Act 1997.
(2)–(3) In accordance with section 75 of the LAA, the land
is to be used and held solely for the purpose of the home for crippled
children. As the land is being used for the designated purpose, the Department
of Lands has no future plans for this site.
(4) Not applicable.
