Until recently Restorative Parenting Contracts have been used to engage parents in the Department for Child Protection's Parent Support Service. The Department has recently made changes to phase-out the use of Restorative Parenting Contracts and replace these with Responsible Parenting Agreements. During the period 1 March 2011 to 31 May 2011, 24 Restorative Parenting Contracts have been entered into as these practice changes are still being implemented.
