I refer to the Ministers recent discussions with the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley and in particular the proposal to enable the proposed school site at Lot 1688 Hibiscus Drive to be released for residential subdivision -

An Order under Section 165 of the Land Administration Act seeking authorisation to the issue of a Notice of Intention to Take interests in the land has also been prepared. The Local Authority is initiating an amendment to the Town Planning Scheme which will incorporate the LandCorp subdivision design. LandCorp presented concept plans to the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley and community members on 18 August 2003.
