ESPERANCE LEAD POLLUTION — CLEAN-UP
I refer to the lead contamination scandal in Esperance as described and identified in the “Inquiry into the Cause and Extent of Lead Pollution in the Esperance Area” report of September 2007. (1) Has the state government requested that Magellan Metals Pty Ltd contribute to the financial cost of the clean-up of the lead contamination at Esperance? (2) If yes to (1), what is the quantum of Magellan Metals Pty Ltd’s financial contribution to the clean-up? (3) If no to (1), why not? Hon ADELE FARINA
