(1) GradConnect received 1,708 applications from WA graduates

1,337 from newly qualified registered nurses.
·
304 from newly qualified enrolled nurses.
·
67 from midwives.
(2) All offers via GradConnect have now been made.
(3) Of the applications received from WA graduates

, 560 were not offered positions and therefore will be seeking employment via alternative pathways.

393 (29.4%) from newly qualified registered nurses.
·
156 (51.3%) from newly qualified enrolled nurses

Those graduates who at the time of application are Australian citizens or holders of an Australian permanent residency visa are given priority for recruitment ahead of, for example, applicants graduating from WA universities
but who are instead holding a student visa.

Additionally, Australian citizens and those with permanent residency who are also
graduates of WA education providers
are given preference over graduates studying and living in other states.
