Can the Minister advise what progress has been made with regard to rebuilding the bund, or seawall, at Onslow, which was damaged in the cyclone that affected the area recently? If no progress has been made, can an explanation be given for the delay? Hon N.F. MOORE

I thank the member for some notice of this question. The Shire of Ashburton has responsibility for foreshore protection work and for remedial works on the seawall at Onslow. I understand that the Shire of Ashburton has recently requested additional funding from the cyclones Elaine and Vance trust fund for restoration of the seawall.
