1.  As at 1 June 2016, the Department for Child Protection and Family Support (DCPFS) employee allocation was 2,258 FTE.  Please refer to Attachment 1 for a breakdown by directorate and district.
2.  (a) 73 FTE. Refer to Attachment 1
(b) 7.3 FTE. Details are as follows:
(c) Vacancies not advertised were subject to a state Government wide recruitment freeze and other vacancies were also subject to review with regard to the operational requirements of the business unit.
3. 1,489 FTE.  Refer to Attachment 1.

7. (a) 1,895 FTE were permanent employees.
(b) 289 FTE were on fixed term contract.  Refer to Attachment 2 .
8. As at 1 June 2016, nine (9) Senior Child Protection Workers – Family and Domestic Violence were working with WA Police to combat family and domestic violence in regional and rural areas.
9. In six (6) locations, WA Police and DCPFS officers were co-located.  As at 1 June 2016 in the East Kimberley, Pilbara and Wheatbelt, WA Police and DCPFS officers were working in partnership but were not co-located. However from 12 September 2016 in the East Kimberley, WA Police and DCPFS have been co-located.
