I refer to the outdoor levels of radon and thoron registered at the boundaries of the Dalyellup Waste Residue Disposal Facility (DWRDF) as detailed in the Annual Radiation Monitoring Report in Cristal Pigment Australia's 2017 Annual Environmental Report, and I ask: (a) were the outdoor levels of radon and thoron registered at the boundaries of the DWRDF higher than expected in comparison to other coastal areas of Western Australia: (i) if yes to (a), why; and (b) will the Minister please provide data on background environmental radiation levels for Dalyellup for the last five years: (i) if no to (b), why not?
