(a) what was the amount and number of creditors outstanding for less than or equal to 30 days;
(b) what was the amount and number of creditors outstanding for less than or equal to 60 days;
(c) what was the amount and number of creditors outstanding for less than or equal to 90 days;
(d) what was the amount and number of creditors outstanding for less than or equal to 120 days; and
(e) what was the amount and number of creditors outstanding more than 120 days?

Department of the Premier and Cabinet advises:
The Department of the Premier and Cabinet's accounts are processed by the Department of Treasury and Finance Shared Services and their system could only provide data as at 7th April 2009 and not retrospectively to the 24th March 2009 as requested. As at 7th April 2009:
(a) 86 creditors totalling $2,471,786.69 (for the period less than 30 days);
(b) 57 creditors totalling $611,706.61 (for the period greater than 30 days but less than 60 days);
(c) 24 creditors totalling $125,254.76 (for the period greater than 60 days but less than 90 days);
(d) 20 creditors totalling $123,320.09 (for the period greater than 90 days but less than 120 days); and
(e) 58 creditors totalling $678,181.86 (for the period greater than 120 days).
An investigation is being undertaken to determine the reasons for non-payment. Some of the outstanding creditors are public sector agencies. The Premier has issued a
Circular
drawing attention to the Government's policy on the payment of accounts.
Public Sector Commissioner advises as at 7 April 2009:

(a) 11 creditors totalling $ 92,849.34 (for the period greater than 0 days but less than 30 days);
(b) 5 creditors totalling $16,225.39 (for the period greater than 30 days but less than 60 days);
(c) 8 creditors (the largest being the Department of the Premier and Cabinet) totalling $409,952.67 (for the period greater than 60 days but less than 90 days);
(d) 3 creditors totalling $11,721.06 (for the period greater than 90 days but less than 120 days); and
(e) Nil (for the period greater than 120)
Investigation is being undertaken to determine reasons for non payment.
