The following information is defined as the juvenile rate of return based on number of exits from detention and number of returns to detention or adult prison by the same person (each exit and/or return is counted) and excludes imprisonment for fine default only and returns for fine default only or breach early release order only.
(1) 79.22% returned before early May 2009 after exiting between 1 July 1998 and 30 June 2008.
(2) 50.34% returned within 1 year after exiting during 2006/07.
(3) 76.02% returned within 2 years after exiting during 2005/06.
(4) 84.50% returned within 5 years after exiting during 2002/03.
