The Department of Health has not provided any funding. Healthway provided $157,500 in the 2000/2001 financial year.

Healthway has budgeted up to $165,000 for each of the financial years 2001/2002 and 2002/2003.
No funds have been budgeted for 2003/2004.

Sponsorship is provided on the basis of health promotion benefits offered. These include promotional, educational and structural benefits.
Effectiveness is measured by surveys including a sponsorship monitor as well as data derived from ticket sales.
