I refer to the need for second access roads to Gracetown, Prevelly and Yallingup, and I ask —
(1) With respect to each town, what is the current status of the work being undertaken by the working group(s) to assess options for a second access road?
(2) With respect to each town, what options have been identified and what are the costs and benefits of each option?
(3) With respect to each town, what is the timeframe for the working group(s) to provide advice to government?

Main Roads WA
advises:
(1)  To date the working group has identified a number of potential options for alternative access and/or improved safety for each town and an initial assessment of these options identifying issues, effectiveness and achievability has been completed.
(2)  It would be inappropriate to advise the potential options being considered at this stage as they have not yet been finalised or even costed.
(3)  January 2013.
