COMMUNITIES BUDGET - MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS, PLANNING AND INFRASTRUCTURE
I refer to the Communities budget and to the “Major Achievements For 2006-07” on page 1205 of the 2007-08 Budget Statements . What has happened to the major initiative of 2006-07, as listed under the Premier and Cabinet division on page 97 of the 2006-07 Budget Statements , which states - The Department will continue to work across the Planning and Infrastructure portfolio and in close partnership with the Department of Planning and Infrastructure to improve interagency collaboration and build consistency in community engagement practices Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH

Since the closure of the Office of Citizens and Civics on 31 December 2006, the Public Sector Management Division of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet has had responsibility for ensuring that community liaison consultation processes are implemented across government consistent with guidelines developed by the OCC.
