Ministerial Office
As of 1 January 2010 the Government Media Office ceased to operate in a move to streamline decision making and coordination across portfolios. As part of these changes responsibility for daily Media Monitoring Services for Ministers and some government agencies has been transferred to the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
Department of Planning
(a) Media Monitors Pty Ltd
(b)A contract for the amount of $360 000 was originally initiated by the Department for Planning and Infrastructure (DPI) for the period 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2012. The value of this contract was based on expenditure by the former DPI over the previous three years and is highly unlikely to ever be realised.
DPI and Department of Transport use this contract under a service level agreement.
(c) Since 10 May 2009 to 10 May 2010 $ 34 961.55.
(d) 3 years
(e) 1 July 2009.
Armadale Redevelopment Authority
(a-e) No, LandCorp provides the ARA with a media monitoring service under its service agreement.
East Perth Redevelopment Authority; Subiaco Redevelopment Authority advise
(a) Media Monitors Pty Ltd
(b) $402.15 per month for monitoring services plus an item charge of between $1.81 and $3.72 for each clipping.
(c) $14 606.95 (excluding GST) has been paid to Media Monitors for the period 1 May 2009 to 21 May 2010.
(d) 12 months
(e) Subscription to Media Monitors in 2004.
This was negotiated under the previous government.
