As a supplementary question, now that the Premier has set a precedent by providing taxpayers’ funds for public servants to attend a political rally, will he guarantee that all public servants who wish to attend a stop-work rally to protest against the actions of his government will also be given paid leave to do so? I find it somewhat interesting that the Leader of the Opposition cannot see the gravity of the situation that faces Western Australia as a state and working families throughout the state. This is a unique situation in which the commonwealth government is trying to take over our industrial relations laws. If a Leader of the Liberal Party in Western Australia cannot see the significance of that situation, that is a reflection on where the Western Australian Liberal Party is currently.
