(1) A specialist report to the Environmental Protection Authority in 2002 (contained in Bulletin 1087) gives the post 1993 median for phosphorus loads into the Peel-Harvey Estuarine System from the Serpentine River as 51.8 tonnes. Information on nitrogen is not available in sufficiently detailed form to answer your questions. (2) The phosphorus load from the Serpentine represents approximately 50 percent of the total phosphorus load into the Peel Harvey Estuarine System. I am unable to give you a more accurate estimate as relative loads vary from year to year.
