ORGAN DONATIONS
981. Hon JACQUI BOYDELL to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to an article in The West
Australian of 17 August 2020 entitled ''DonateLife WA's Dr
Simon Towler calls on wealthy to lend private jets for organ donation transfers
amid coronavirus''.
(1) Has
DonateLife WA contacted the Premier, his office or the state government seeking
assistance in this regard?
(2) Will the
Premier make the state government jet available to assist with the
transportation of life-saving organs for the purpose of transplant?
(3) If no to (2),
why not?
(4) In the last
30 days, on how many occasions has the state government jet not been tasked?
