I refer to the Public And
Health Sector Legislation Amendment (Right of Return) Bill 2018, and ask: (a) how many senior executive service (SES)
employees are eligible to return to the public sector with permanency; (b) can the Premier please
provide a breakdown of the number of employees with one, two, three, four and
five years to go on their SES contracts; and (c) how many of the employees
signed new SES contracts in the past 12 months: (i) what were the yearly terms
of the contracts; and (ii) please provide a breakdown of
the number of new contracts signed for one, two, three, four and five years?

The Public Sector Commission advises:
(a)        As at 18 September 2018, 270 Senior Executive Service (SES) employees are eligible to return to the public sector with permanency.
(b)        Table 1 details the breakdown of employees with one, two, three, four and five years to go on their SES contracts:
