I refer to the Southern Aboriginal Corporation proposal for an aboriginal drug rehabilitation centre in Albany, and I ask: (a) Has the Mental Health Commission received a funding application from the Southern Aboriginal Corporation in relation to this project: (i) If yes to (a), when was the application received; and (ii) If yes to (a), where is the funding application review at and when will a response be given to the Southern Aboriginal Corporation; and (b) Has the Minister received a meeting request from the Southern Aboriginal Corporation: (i) If yes to (b), will the Minister meet with representatives from the Corporation: (A) If yes to (i), when will a meeting be held? (B) If no to (i), why not?

(a) Yes.
(i)  6 December 2018.
(ii) The Proposal is currently being reviewed as part of the Mental Health Commission Unsolicited Funding Proposal process. The Southern Aboriginal Corporation will be advised of the outcome of the process.
(b) Yes.
(i)  Unfortunately the Minister has not met with the Southern Aboriginal Corporation due to diary constraints and pending consideration of the proposal by the Mental Health Commission.
(A)-(B) Not applicable.
