(1) Will the Minister confirm that, some 18 months ago, a truck believed to be a log-hauling truck collided with a tram operated by the Pemberton Tramway Company?
(2) Did this collision occur on a logging road within State forest where it crosses the Pemberton to Northcliffe tramway and where traffic movements across the tramway are controlled by stop signs?
(3) As a consequence of this collision, were a significant number of trees up to 100 metres distant from the crossing recently cut down so as to improve visibility for truck drivers?
(4) If yes, who gave permission for the trees to be removed and what public consultation or other process was undertaken prior to this permission being made?
