As a consequence of this question a departmental officer has discussed the issue with WALGA and the Department of Local Government and Regional Development but there appears to be no evidence of concern having been raised with these bodies. However if the Member will provide me with the details of this issue I would be prepared to consider it in the context of a review of the Building Act.
