533. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the
Minister for Housing:
(1) How many
people contacted the Department of Housing with maintenance queries for their public
housing property during the period March to April 2015 from each of the
following electorates —
(a) Belmont; and
(b) Forrestfield?
(2) Of these maintenance queries, how many remain outstanding
in each electorate?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1) From 1
March 2015 to 30 April 2015, the department received the following number of
requests for maintenance from residents —
(a) 1 392; and
(b) 624; this
extends beyond the electorate as it includes the entire suburbs of Orange Grove
and Maddington.
(2) The answer
is 112 in the Belmont electorate, and 40 in the Forrestfield electorate; again,
this extends beyond the electorate as it includes the entire suburbs of Orange
Grove and Maddington.
