I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) Schools were allocated extra staffing to reduce class sizes in years 8 and 9, and some schools have been allocated additional funding to address behavioural issues. In the North Metropolitan Region, the schools that were allocated funds and/or additional staffing and the amount that they were allocated are as follows - Clarkson Community High School 2.5 FTE $106 200 Balcatta Senior High School 1.4 FTE Balga Senior High School 0.9 FTE $66 600 Girrawheen Senior High School 1.5 FTE $98 000 Mirrabooka Senior High School 1.5 FTE $102 400 Forrestfield Senior High School 2.0 FTE Governor Stirling Senior High School 2.2 FTE $118 000 Lockridge Senior High School 1.8 FTE $99 700 Swan View Senior High School 1.8 FTE (2) Schools may spend the money as they choose, with the objective in mind that they address challenging behaviour.
