97. Hon ALISON XAMON to the Minister for Environment:
I refer to the government's
revocation of Spatial Property's fauna management plan for the
development of the Paramount Private Estate in Baldivis.
(1) Has a specific process for the
relocation of the kangaroos on the development site been agreed to?
(2) If yes to (1), please outline
what has been agreed.
(3) If no to (1) —
(a) when will the new plan be ready;
and
(b) what welfare
provisions are in place to ensure that the wellbeing of the kangaroos is
maintained until a decision is made?
(4) What is the
current condition of the kangaroos?
(5) Do the
kangaroos have access to a water source?
