The Minister for Police and Emergency Services has provided the following response - (1) The number of prosecutions in 2001 was 1 218; 2002, 1 301; 2003, 1 335; 2004, 1 426; 2005, 1 791; 2006, 2 038; and 2007, 722 to date. (2) No. (3) Busselton has access to a full-time prosecutor centrally managed by the south west prosecuting office.
