With the Northampton Shire Council and the Kalbarri community pursuing a number of much needed infrastructure requirements, such as an expansion of an existing recreation facility and the construction of a new Visitors Centre/Tourist Bureau within the Kalbarri townsite. Will the Minister -
(1) Approve the reversion of Crown Reserve vested under the Shire’s control to freehold, on the land identified by the Shire, to enable them to sell to finance these badly needed community facilities?
(2) If not, can you suggest how local communities that are rapidly developing, raise the funds to develop these facilities?
