(2) How many times has the Premier met with the Treasurer to specifically discuss the ways in which the efficiency dividend could be applied to Departments or Agencies within the Premier’s portfolios?
(3) Has the Premier prepared any submissions to the Economic and Expenditure Review Committee setting out the Premier’s recommendations by which the efficiency dividend will be met within the Departments or Agencies under the Premier’s portfolios; and
(a) if so, how many?

Department of the Premier and Cabinet advises:
(1-2) I meet regularly with agency heads and the Treasurer to discuss a range of issues, including agency resourcing matters.
(3-3a) As Minister responsible for the Department, I have forwarded a submission to the Economic and Expenditure Review Committee addressing the efficiency dividend.
Public Sector Commissioner; Corruption and Crime Commission of WA advises:
(1) Nil
(2-3a)Not Applicable
Department of State Development advises:
(1-2) The Minister for State Development has not called specific meetings with the Director General of the Department of State Development to discuss the three per cent efficiency dividend.
(3-3a) The Minister for State Development has forwarded a submission to the Economic and Expenditure Review Committee regarding achievement of the three per cent efficiency dividend
Office of the Public Sector Standard Commissioner advises:
(1) Nil - Department of Treasury and Finance has previously advised that OPSSC is included amongst the small agencies that were exempted from this initiative.
(2-3a) Not applicable
Governor's Establishment advises:
(1-3a) Not applicable to Governor's Establishment
Gold Corporation advises:
(1-3a) Not applicable. Gold Corporation is not a government department but a commercial enterprise. Its purpose is to make a profit. It is currently enjoying extremely high levels of activity because of the world's economic crisis which has resulted in extremely high demands for gold coins and other forms of gold. Gold Corporation expects to make a record profit in this financial year.
