AGRICULTURE AND FOOD — AUDITOR GENERAL'S REPORT
705. Hon DARREN WEST to the
Minister for Agriculture and Food:
I refer to the Auditor General's report, ''Managing
the Impact of Plant and Animal Pests: A State-wide Challenge'', and
specifically the recommendations listed on pages 9 and 10.
(1) Will all of the recommendations be implemented by 30
June?
(2) If no to (1), which recommendations will not be
implemented by 30 June; and, why not?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1) No.
(2) One
recommendation has a 31 December completion date. One recommendation is ongoing
and is without a completion date. There are six recommendations that are due
for completion by 30 June. These are all addressed in the statewide plan and
framework, which is due to be delivered on target.
