KALGOORLIE HEALTH CAMPUS —
MRI MACHINE
537. Hon ROBIN SCOTT to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Health:
I
refer to the announcement of an MRI machine for Kalgoorlie. Has a decision been
made on whether the WA Country Health
Service will operate the MRI machine or whether the government will consider
contracting out those operations?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
WA Country Health Service—Goldfields
health—is not planning to privatise the Kalgoorlie Health Campus MRI
service; it is intended that it will be delivered by the medical imaging
department at Kalgoorlie Health Campus.
