(a)        Event attendees will realise an average annual benefit of $9.5 million, based on contingent valuation estimates reflecting the economic and social value of events to Western Australians.
The contingent valuations are based on 'revealed preference' methodology which assesses the community’s 'evidenced' or historical spending patterns on similar events/activities.
