I refer the Minister to the Small Business Commissioner’s report into the Construction Subcontractor Investigation, page 18, Quantum of Claims made by Subcontractors, and I ask: (a) what assistance will be given to the additional sixty-nine subcontractors identified in the investigation who are claiming losses from non-Building Management and Works administered contracts; and (b) if no assistance is to be provided, why won’t the Government provide any support to these subcontractors who have been victims of the same negligent processes as the one hundred and ten who will receive Government aid?
