Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS)
Children and young people referred are not allocated to specific professional groups or individuals. They are allocated to a case manager who is part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), which generally includes Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, and Clinical Nurse Specialists. Case manager allocations are made on the basis of need, priority and availability. Case managers will cross refer to another specialist clinician if required and endorsed by the MDT review of the care plan. The CAHDS have a MDT, which also includes occupational therapy services and speech pathology services.

(1)(a-b)
Western Australian Country Health Service
There are no waiting times for access to mental health services in WA Country Health Service (WACHS). Referrals are received by telephone, facsimile and in person and are triaged and responded to according to priority. All urgent cases will be seen by mental health staff as soon as is practically possible.
WACHS mental health clinics utilise a multidisciplinary staffing model, except for some fly?in/fly-out and visiting psychiatrist services and Psychology. Access to all available professionals is as soon as is practically possible.
(2)(a-b)
Mental Health Commission
The Mental Health Commission does not currently have a centralised data management system that reports on waiting times for community mental health support services provided by non-government organisations.
Accessing rapidly changing information related to waiting times from a wide range of independent organisations is complex and potentially costly. Nonetheless, as part of its future planning processes, the Mental Health Commission will be assessing its data and data management requirements and this will include consideration of the issues associated with achieving electronic access to waiting time information.
