NEUROTRAUMA RESEARCH PROGRAM — FUNDING
508. Mrs M.H. ROBERTS to the Minister for Road Safety:
I have a supplementary question. If
the minister really cares about these issues, why will she not immediately
restore the $1.7 million that was recommended by the independent and expert
Road Safety Council?

AnswerView source ↗

I think I have just articulated that
I am very passionate about this neurotrauma project.
Mrs
M.H. Roberts : You've cut the funding by over half. That's
not passionate; that's showing them complete disregard!
The
SPEAKER : Member for Midland, I call you to order for the first time.
Minister, answer the question, please.
Mrs
L.M. HARVEY : I am working towards a more sustainable funding model for this
program into the future. I remain committed to that.
