(2) What is the difference between that figure and the recommended allocation from the Road Safety Council? (3) What is the reason for the difference? (4) How much of that money has been allocated to state roads? (5) How much of that money has been allocated to local roads? (6) What specific projects has the money been allocated to and how much has been allocated for each project? (7) For each project will you please advise whether that is the total cost of the project and if not what the total cost of the project is?

(1) A total of $36.667m has been allocated ($31.167m allocated in the 2013-14 Budget and $5.5m reallocated from the Metropolitan Intersection Program in January 2014).
(2) $12.683m.
(3) A number of factors influenced the decision, including the review into Road Safety Governance, Main Roads Western Australia operational requirements, and earlier record expenditure on the program in 2012-13.

(7) The only project on the list that is funded over a number of years is the York-Merredin Road. A total of $10.5m has been committed over 3 years consisting of $0.6m in 2012-13, $2.3m in 2013-14 and $7.6m in 2014-15.
