Hon. Adele Farina inquired about the allocation of the community service subsidy to Bunbury Regional Hospital and the South West electoral district in 2012-13 and 2013-14. The response indicated the subsidy didn't exist in 2012-13 and was allocated at the area health service level in 2013-14, not at the hospital or district level.

I refer to the community service subsidy within the Mental Health Commission Budget, and I ask: (a) how much of the community service subsidy budget component was allocated to the Bunbury Regional Hospital in: (i) 2012-13; and (ii) 2013-14; (b) in each of those years, was the allocation to the Bunbury Regional Hospital the total amount of community service subsidy allocated to the South West electoral district; and (c) if no to (b), what other allocations were made in the South West and to which health services?

(a-c) There was no community service subsidy in existence in 2012-13, either for Mental Health or across the broader health services. In 2013-14 the subsidy was allocated to the Department of Health at the area health service level, not at hospital level or district level.
