MINING LEASES - REVERSION LICENCE APPLICATIONS
Whether it is a parliamentary secretary or a minister, I do not know; there is a bit of confusion about who is representing who these days. A new list has come out, I gather. I refer to the reversion process for mining lease applications that closed on 9 February. (1) How many reversion licence applications were made by 9 February? (2) How many of those applied for new exploration and prospecting licences respectively? (3) How many mining lease applications remain waiting for approval following closure of the reversion process? (4) How many lease applications were awaiting approval at the end of January 2006? The Leader of the House is not the parliamentary secretary, is he? Hon KIM CHANCE
