I refer to previous funding arrangements between the Department of Health and not-for-profit organisations, in particular to changes in agencies handling some of these two to three year arrangements, and ask can the Minister please provide: (a) a list of all organisations that did not have funding arrangements with the Department of Health renewed last year; (b) a list of all organisations that will not have their funding arrangements with the Department of Health renewed this year; and (c) a list of all organisations who now need to obtain grants from the Mental Health Commission as a result of the discontinuation of funding and re-categorisation of outcomes?

I am advised that:
(a) Please see tabled paper no. for information on a list of not-for-profit organisations that had grant agreements with the Department of Health that have ceased and will not be renewed from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.
(b) Please see tabled paper no. for information on a list of not-for-profit organisations that have grant agreements with the Department of Health that will cease/have ceased and will not be renewed from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018.
(c) Grants are for specific projects, are time limited and also intended to be finite in nature. Not-for-profit organisations are able to apply, at their own discretion, to any government agency that conducts grant programs.
