(1) Is it correct that in the Cannington Police District, on Friday 25 January 2002 in the time period covering 5.00-6.00p.m.only two police cars were in operation to attend break-ins and similar call-outs to households?
(2) If so, why were so few cars available to cover such a large area?
(3) If no to (1), how many cars were operating at that time?
(4) How many cars are usually operating at any one time in the Cannington area?
(5) Is this a sufficient number to quickly attend to all call-outs and other matters in the area?
(6) If not, what would be the ideal number of cars to adequately cover the area?

(5) The Police Service advises under normal operational requirements this number of vehicles is sufficient to meet the tasking requirements of the district.
