ELECTRICITY — OUTAGES — KALGOORLIE
34. Dr D.J. HONEY to the Minister for Energy:
I have a supplementary question. It
was a simple question about a major power plant in a town that the minister
visited. Why can the minister not answer that question?

AnswerView source ↗

I just explained to you —
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER : Order!
Minister!
Dr D.J. Honey : It does not
require investigation.
The SPEAKER : Member, are you
going to answer the question as well as ask it?
Mr R.R. WHITBY : The member
is asking me to speculate on what happened to a generator. An inquiry is
underway. I am going to wait to see
what the experts find out, and I am not going to jump to conclusions or respond
to the member.
The SPEAKER : Members, that
concludes question time.
