(2) For those children in (1), in how many cases was the disability of the parent a factor in the decision to take the child into care?

1. There were 3 871 children in the Chief Executive Officer's care as at 31 August 2012.
2. The Department for Child Protection records information about a child's parents on the individual client file.  This information is not available on an aggregate basis.
