(2) Quantities of produced formation water discharged from the Goodwin platform are not required to be reported to the Department of Environment and Conservation. The Goodwin platform is not located within State waters. (3) It is proposed that produced formation water from the Gorgon gas field will be treated and injected into a formation beneath Barrow Island. The estimated quantity of produced formation water from the Gorgon gas field is unknown at this time. (4) It is proposed that produced formation water from the Jansz gas field will be treated and injected into a formation beneath Barrow Island.
