I refer to the market rent
determinations for state housing in the Pilbara.
(1) What methodology is used to
determine the market rental rate of a property?
(2) How often is the market rental
rate of a property reviewed?
(3) As at 1 July
2013, what was the market rate determined for two, three and four-bedroom houses
in Pretty Pool, Port Hedland and South Hedland?
(4) As at 1 July
2015, what was the market rate determined for two, three and four-bedroom
houses in Pretty Pool, Port Hedland and South Hedland?

(1) Market rents are determined by
the Valuer-General.
(2) It is reviewed annually.
(3)–(4) The
Housing Authority is unable to answer these questions as individual values are
not determined by bedroom size alone.
