Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (a)-(d) The former Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (the Office) was a sub department of the Department of Finance from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2018. Corporate services, including the FOI function, were provided to the Office by the Department of Finance under a service level agreement. For the period 1 January 2016 to 30 June 2018, one full time equivalent staff member received and processed FOI applications for the Department of Finance, the Department of Treasury, and the Office.
