It will not surprise any member in
this chamber to learn that I have a significant amount of self-belief and a certain
amount of self-confidence, like many members in here, but even I cannot extend
to that and wave a magic wand and suddenly improve housing affordability. It
requires a nuanced approach, multi-tiered by state and federal governments, to
ensure that we can deliver the sorts of outcomes that can make a positive
change to the structural problems that we have.
