about the road trauma trust account.
(1) What is the current approved
allocated expenditure attributable to the RTTA in 2024–25?
(2) How much of
the $113 million in receipts forecast in the 2024–25 state budget has
been allocated for expenditure?
(3) How much of
the additional $32.5 million in road safety expenditure announced on 6 September
2024 will be incurred in this financial year?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) It is $132.622 million.
(2) All funds
receipted to the RTTA are spent on road safety initiatives, with funding
allocated on an ongoing basis to various approved projects. For example, in the
last 10 weeks, since the Premier's road safety round table, $57.3 million
has been allocated to new road safety initiatives.
(3) It will be $9.963 million.
