Can the minister please provide the total costings in dollars that the government will contribute to local governments so that their software is updated and training is provided for the implementation of the new proportional preferential voting system? Hon JON FORD

The Department of Local Government and Regional Development is working with the Western Australian Electoral Commission on the implementation of electoral reform for local government.
