(a)
(i) Reclassification has no effect upon the allocations of total teacher staffing, school support and education assistants to the school as these are driven by student enrolment. However, as a level five primary school Newman Primary School is entitled to one level five school principal and two level three deputy principals, whereas a level four primary school is entitled to one level four principal and one level three deputy principal.
(ii) No effect.
(iii) As a level five primary school Newman Primary School receives a core grant of $1 284.24 more than it did as a level four primary school in its core grant. Other grants are calculated on the basis of student enrolment.
(iv) No effect.
(b) No other Pilbara schools were under consideration for reclassification for 2010.
(c) Not applicable.
