Indigenous People in Mining – working group consisting of Indigenous business operators working in the mining industry and related services, representatives from mining companies, relevant government agencies and training organizations. Main regular activities include production of a business directory, promotion of businesses at the annual Goldfields Mining Expo. Developing Indigenous tourism and cultural heritage – assisting new and existing operators to develop culturally appropriate tourism product, providing information on relevant industry organizations, funding sources and training opportunities. Supporting the development of Indigenous arts in the region. Assisting communities, organizations and individuals to develop and market their arts products 3. $80,000 for the year 2002/03. 4.
